Please read the following statements carefully before clicking the "I Accept" button which indicates your acknowledgment of and assent to this information.  If you do not agree to the provisions set forth below, please do not proceed with the online application process.
Information Regarding Use of Personal Data
Newell Brands (the "Company," "we," or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. We want to inform you of how we will use the personal information that you submit during the application process.
Storage of your information
We have contracted with a third-party service provider, Taleo Corporation ("Taleo"), to provide us with a recruitment system that enables us to manage our recruitment process more efficiently. Taleo collects candidate-provided information for Newell Brands recruiting database and maintains the database itself. 
The personal information you submit here will be stored electronically in our recruiting database and will be reviewed by employees or consultants of Newell Brands to evaluate your qualifications and experience for job opportunities with our Company.  Newell Brands generally keeps information of candidates applying for jobs within the United States for a period of two years (or as otherwise required by applicable laws). All candidates are encouraged to update their data when appropriate. 
Access to your information
Newell Brands will generally not disclose your personal information to third parties other than consultants or Taleo as described above, unless otherwise required by law.  Newell Brands and Taleo will take appropriate, commercially reasonable technical, organizational, and legal steps to secure your personal information to the extent practicable.

Acknowledgments Related to Submission of Employment Application
I agree that my submission of this Employment Application does not obligate Newell Brands or its affiliated companies to employ me or to offer me employment.

If I am employed by Newell Brands, I further understand that, subject to applicable law or any applicable collective bargaining agreement, my employment is to be "at-will" and that either the Company or I may terminate my employment at any time for any or no reason not contrary to law, with or without notice, unless the "at-will" arrangement is modified by a written agreement signed by both me and a duly authorized vice-president or president of the Company.
I certify that the information on my Employment Application (and accompanying documents, if any) is true and complete.  I agree that any misstatement, false information, or omission submitted here, in my responses to oral or written questions asked during the interview or background check processes, or on any employment forms I may subsequently complete, including Form I-9, no matter when discovered, may disqualify me from consideration for employment or subject me to termination if discovered after an offer of employment has been extended to me or after employment has commenced.
